Hana Fastener™ Care

Specialized care instructions for garments with innovative Hana Fastener™ technology.

Essential Care Steps

  • Pre-Wash Preparation: Close all Hana Fasteners™ securely before washing. This protects the fastening mechanism and prevents snagging on other garments.
  • Air Dry Recommended: Hang dry or lay flat, avoid high heat drying (>100°C). Excessive heat may affect the magnet strength in Hana Fasteners™.

Special Warnings

  • Temperature Warning: Never expose Hana Fasteners™ to temperatures above 100°C (212°F) as this may affect their functionality.

General Denim Care Guide

Preserve the quality, fit, and color of your denim with proper care techniques.

Step-by-Step Care Process

  • Pre-Treatment: Turn jeans inside out to protect the outer surface and color. Check pockets for items and fasten all closures.
  • Cold Water Wash: Use cold water (30°C/86°F or below) to prevent shrinking and fading. Cold water preserves the denim's structure and color.
  • Gentle Cycle: Select a gentle or delicate wash cycle to minimize agitation. Less agitation means less wear on fibers and seams.
  • Air Dry: Hang dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Lay flat for heavy denim to prevent stretching.

Washing Frequency by Denim Type

  • Stretch Denim: Every 2-3 wears. Avoid high heat to maintain elastane fibers.
  • Dark Denim: Every 4-5 wears. Wash separately the first few times to prevent color bleeding.
  • Light/Faded Denim: After each wear, if needed. More tolerant to frequent washing, less color loss risk.
